Tomas Talutis, PhD
The chairman of association Tomas Talutis, PhD is a managing partner of law firm TESET. He earned his Master of Law degree at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University in 2001. Three years later, in 2004 he acquired his LL. M. degree at J. W. Goethe University in Frankfurt (Germ. Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main), and in 2008 at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University defended his doctoral thesis and gained a doctor’s degree of social sciences, branch of law.
Tomas Talutis, PhD has been practicing law since 2001. Tomas Talutis, PhD has gained professional experience both working in the public sector, including two years of experience as a Commissioner of the Lithuanian Securities Commission, and working as an attorney-at-law in the private sector.
Tomas Talutis, PhD specialises in areas related to establishment and activity of collective investment schemes, legal regulation of collective investment undertakings, investment services, markets in financial instruments and financial services. Tomas Talutis, PhD has a unique professional experience gained in advising management companies and investment firms operating in Lithuania on starting their business, licensing, establishment of investment and pension funds, and relations with customer, and etc.
Tomas Talutis, PhD has been teaching master students at Mykolas Romeris University since 2008.
